Buster has a great liking for dancing around the parapets chez Glossop.
This is not good for Dame Honoria's nerves.
Young Master Bertram is perched on the top of the retaining wall of the staircase which leads down from the back door of Bracknell Towers.
He is now grown sufficiently agile for Lady Bracknell not to tremble with fear every time he leaps thereupon. But it is very high up.
I keep waiting for the dialogue intertitle to appear, i.e, Bertram! What have you done with my handbag?
It occurs to Lady Bracknell that those of her readers who are either very young, or who do not hail from the UK, may not be familiar with this much-loved advertisement for Hovis.
Oh! Now I see. :) I have seen that before-- admittedly it was on one of those late-night Channel Four clip shows, but I have. And put into this context I now wonder whether M. Bertie doesn't look a bit guilty. Did you make that delivery, Bertram? DID you? Crumbs on his jacketses, etc.
It is certainly generally safe to assume that Bertie has either just done something naughty, or is about to do something naughty.
